What’s going on in your garden these days? Is there anything you want to show—gorgeous greens, crunchy carrots, a perplexing pest? Sort of a “show and tell” for big kids, this meeting is a great opportunity for members to meet up, “talk shop” and share gardening tips. Even if your garden is more theory than reality at this point, come anyway! You could walk away with new ideas and helpful gardening connections. Feel free to bring a potluck item or beverage or just bring yourself to an informal evening of garden talk.
ABG meetings are held monthly on second Tuesdays and are open to all residents of Alameda and the surrounding area. Monthly meetings offer gardeners of all experience levels an opportunity to talk about what's growing in their vegetable gardens and exchange gardening tips. Meetings are also a great time to drop off fruit and produce donations for the Alameda Food Bank.
