Alameda Rugby home game
Alameda Rugby hosts its first home game, with the ladies of the Riptide taking on the Davis Blue Devils at 4pm. Afterwards, the boys will take on the Alumni around 6.
Alameda Rugby was founded in 2002 and has sent players across the globe to play at higher levels, ranging from domestic Super League to European competition to the Marine Corps in Afghanistan. The ladies play in the Northern California Gold Division against teams such as Davis, national champion Sacramento Amazons, Humboldt, and Elsie Allen. The boys play in the Bay Conference against teams such as Bishop O'Dowd, Oakland, Berkeley, and De La Salle Concord.
