On Saturday, June 18 there will be a Community Water Safety Day at Encinal Swim Center (230 Central Ave.) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from Emma Hood Swim Center (2256 Alameda Ave.) from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. Summer aquatics program kick-off.
The program includes lifeguard demonstrations, pool rules, drowningprevention information, sun and beach safety, and aquatics programs. Deep water safetytesting.
