Estuary XING Shuttle Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Estuary XING Shuttle Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and First Ride on the Shuttle

A new bike shuttle capable of transporting 12 bikes and 24 passengers between West Alameda and Lake Merritt BART (and also serving the colleges at those locations) is set to begin late summer.

The program has been funded and the specific start date and specific hours will be set soon. It is planned for the shuttle to cover commute and morning and afternoon class hours.

This is a huge improvement over the sooty, noisy, and scary shared pedestrian/bike walkway though the Posey Tube that we have today.
