The Fight for Air Walk is a three mile walk around beautiful Crown Memorial Beach in Alameda. Attracting people of all ages, the Fight for Air Walk gives YOU the power to improve the air we breathe.
You can get involved by:
- Registering as a Team Captain
- Joining an existing Team as a new registrant
- Signing up as an individual registrant
- Sponsoring the event
- Joining the event planning committee
- Making a contribution supporting a registrant
You can choose to walk the whole course or just some of it. HOwever you choose to participate, you can be proud you have chosen to Fight for Air and assist all those suffering with Asthma, COPD, Lung Cancer and Lung Disease.

Event Overview
The day of the event there will be food, drinks, vendor booths, games, team T-shirt contests, doggie Halloween contest as well as face painters, a small silent auction, music and of course the beautiful crown memorial beach in which you are welcome to pack a lunch and have a picnic at after the walk! Families, Dogs, friends and FUN are highly encouraged!

You may register at any time on the www.fightforairwalk.org website. The walk will be held on October 15, 2011 at Crown Memorial Beach.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m, Opening ceremony begins at 8:45 a.m. and walk begins at 9:15 a.m.
All participants who individually raise at least $100 will receive a complimentary t-shirt and recognition. The team that raises the most money will also recieve a prize and recognition on the Walk website.
