Free Family Cycling Workshop and How-to-Ride-a-Bike Clinic at Ruby Bridges Elementary School

 SUNDAY, October 23, 2011, 10:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.

 FREE Family Cycling Workshop with BikeAlameda and the East Bay Bicycle Coalition.

Parents and their kids can become more confident cyclists and learn safe bicycling skills by playing games together.

Cyclists of all ages—especially preschool and elementary school students—are welcome at this basic cycling skills session. The How-to-Ride-a-Bike Clinic will teach younger kids who are ready for it to ride their bikes without training wheels.

Working bicycle and helmet required for each participant. Preregistration also required: http://www.ebbc.org/safety.

Parents and children must attend session together.

Bring your bike, helmet, suitable clothing, water bottle, and sunscreen for the workshop and short neighborhood ride.

Rain cancels.
