Power Restored Sunday Afternoon To 3,600 Concord Residents
Downed branches were to blame.

Tree branches that struck power lines in Concord this afternoon briefly disrupted service for thousands of PG&E customers, a utility spokesman said.
A power outage that impacted 3,617 customers in Concord was reported around noon, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.
The branches struck power lines on Arnold Industrial Place just east of Solano Way, he said.

A crew was able to clear the branches from the lines, according to Guidi.
All customers received power back at about 1 p.m., he said.
