Latest Danville, Contra Costa County Coronavirus Numbers

DANVILLE, CA — As of Thursday 23 Danville residents (+1 since last week), or 52 in 100,000 people, and 18 Alamo residents (no change), or 122 in 100,000 people, were ill with COVID-19, according to the county.

Also on Thursday, the county announced that people who have either tested positive for the new coronavirus or are displaying associated symptoms must isolate for 10 days, up from 7 days.

In Contra Costa County:

• 1,089 people tested positive for COVID-19 (+90 since last week), including 7 in the past 24 hours
• 17 patients were hospitalized (-4 since last week)
• 29 COVID-19 patients died (+4 since last week)
• 16,427 people were tested (+4,179 since last week)
• 919 patients have recovered
