Yolo County Winters Fire Fully Contained; Firefighters Being Reassigned To Other CA Fires
Breaking: Firefighters are leaving the scene Thursday for reassignment to other fires in the state, Cal Fire officials said.

YOLO COUNTY, CA -- The Winters Fire that started last week in Yolo County near the Napa County border was 100 percent contained Wednesday night, Cal Fire officials said.
The 2,269-acre wildland fire started around 12:40 p.m. on July 6 at state Highway 128 at Pleasant View Road. The cause is under investigation.
Firefighters are leaving the scene Thursday for reassignment to other fires in the state, Cal Fire officials said.

No structures were destroyed, three firefighters suffered heat-related injuries and one suffered a knee injury, according to Cal Fire.
