Bicyclist Hit, Killed In Fremont Wednesday

The crash happened Wednesday morning on Boyce Road near Auto Mall Parkway.

FREMONT, CA — A 28-year-old man riding a bicycle was struck and killed in Fremont Wednesday morning, Fremont Police report. His name has not been released.

The crash happened at 5:10 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Boyce Road, between Auto Mall Parkway and Stewart Avenue. Police closed that stretch of Boyce for about 5 hours to investigate the crash.

The driver is a 25-year-old man from Ceres, which is south of Modesto in the Central Valley.
