BREAKING: Coroner Identifies 61-Year-Old Victim of Fatal Fremont Crash
The crash was reported at 3:46 a.m. on Mission Boulevard south of the Sullivan Underpass on Monday morning.

Officials with the Alameda County Coroner’s office have identified the 61-year-old man who died after crashing into a tree in Fremont early this morning. Michel Cole is thought to have been a Fremont resident, according to officials at the Alameda County Coroner’s Office, despite having an Oakland address on his driver’s license.
The crash was reported at 3:46 a.m. on Mission Boulevard south of the Sullivan Underpass, according to Fremont police. Responding officers found Cole unresponsive in his vehicle, which is thought to have been traveling south when it struck a tree on the right hand side of the road. Cole was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to police.
