Lifeguards Pull Unconscious Person from the Water in Hermosa Beach
LA County Fire Department lifeguards were able to pull a person out of the water and resuscitate the near-drowning victim late Sunday night.

Los Angeles County Fire Department lifeguards rescued an unconscious person from the water off Hermosa Beach who was resuscitated on shore and taken to a hospital, authorities said today.
It happened about 9:25 p.m. Sunday off the Eighth Street Tower, Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher Kyle Sanford said.

The name and age of the victim were being withheld, Sanford said.
