- UPDATE: The wildfire is 70 percent contained as of 4 p.m. Thursday. There are no evacuations.
$3.2M In Cocaine, Meth Found In Bus Gas Tank At San Ysidro Border

- Border Patrol agents on Sunday found more than 200 pounds of cocaine and meth in the gas tank of a bus at the San Ysidro Port of Entry.
Firefighters Battle 3-Acre Fire Near Escondido
- The fire sparked around 3 p.m. in the area of Old Guejito Grade and Stonebridge roads in unincorporated Escondido, officials said.

- The fire was reported in the 1200 block of Sundown Glen.
San Diego Crews Stop 2-Acre Brush Fire Near Tierrasanta
- Ground crews and personnel aboard firefighting aircraft had the flames under control within a half-hour, officials said.
- UPDATE: The blaze sparked for unknown reasons in a training area on the military station north of Oceanside, base officials said.
Black Fire: Brush Fire Near Ramona 60 Percent Contained
- Fire officials plan to use five fire engines, three crews and two water tenders to battle the blaze Monday. It has already burned 46 acres.
- Both Marines were taken to the UC San Diego Regional Burn Center to be treated.
Suspected Drunk Driver Seriously Injures Motorcyclist In Oceanside Crash
- The crash happened about 9:25 p.m. Wednesday at El Camino Real and Mission Avenue.

- The District Attorney's Office said after its review that the officers do not bear any criminal liability for their actions.
Suspected Drunk Driver Crashes Into Semi-Truck, Leads Police On Pursuit In La Mesa
- Jonathan Parr, 42, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and a felony vehicle pursuit.
Mission Bay Park Shooting Suspect Arrested In La Jolla
- A gun discharged during a fight and grazed a victim's head Tuesday. The suspect fled but was later spotted in La Jolla and arrested.
- An Escondido woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs when she allegedly caused a deadly head-on crash.
Woman Fatally Struck By Car In El Cajon
- The victim, who was in her 50s, was not in a marked crosswalk, police said.

- BREAKING: Judge Lisa Rodriguez said Julio Riel Narvaez III represented an "extreme danger" to the public and set his bail at $1 million.
Motorist Killed In Rancho Santa Fe Crash
- The driver died at the scene. Police said it was unclear whether he had been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Poway Teen Leads Police On High-Speed Pursuit
- The 17-year-old driver was arrested after he reportedly crashed into another car, which had a 2-year-old passenger.

- Michael Edward Roman, 12, went missing from a Kaiser hospital in Irvine.
National City Shooting: Suspect Arrested
- Alejandro Robles of National City was arrested Monday in connection with a shooting that left two men dead and a third wounded.
