Arrested: Man Accused Of Stabbing Elderly Woman

• The stabbing happened early Tuesday in Berkeley. The suspect fled to another East Bay community.

Former Lafayette Man Sentenced To Federal Prison

• He also forfeited a $475,000 yacht bought with crooked money.

2 Police Officers Injured By Suspect, Police Report

• The man "aggressively assaulted both officers" on Tuesday and was Tased when backup officers arrived, according to a spokeswoman.

Masked Men Attack Woman Near East Bay BART Station: Police

• The attack happened in Lafayette. The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office reports that suspects have been detained.

3 Sexual Assault Attempts Reported At Popular Alameda Beach

• Two of the attacks happened in the last few days, while the first was on Aug. 6.

Hayward Man Identified As Murder Victim

• No one has been arrested for the crime.

• He's one of six Bay Area medical professionals indicted in the alleged scheme.

Cold Case Murders: Man Sentenced To Life In Prison
