But before we jump into Southern California's top stories, residents should expect to leave the cold, wet weather behind.

A warming trend kicked off across Southern California on Sunday. By Tuesday, highs will be eight to 12 degrees above normal. Additional warming on Thursday and Friday will bring temperatures across the valleys and other inland areas into the high 80s and low 90s, according to the National Weather Service.
