WHAT:

There’s usually not a dry eye in the house every other Saturday at Guide Dogs for the Blind public graduation ceremonies at the organization’s campus in San Rafael. That’s because the events not only serve as a heartwarming celebration of the independence and companionship GDB’s exceptional guide dogs provide for the people they will serve, but they also allow GDB clients to meet the committed puppy raisers who cared for their canine heroes until they were old enough to begin formal training at the campus. Kleenex and cameras are welcome, as are graduation day public tours of the campus prior to the ceremonies. Pre-registered bus groups are also welcome.

These events are free and open to the public.
