SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A 21-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting at a house party on Valley Ford Road turned himself in over the weekend, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office. Eduardo Lopez-Cabrera was one of three suspects in the shooting and stabbing Saturday, June 29 at a home in the 12000 block of Valley Ford Road in Bloomfield, authorities said.

Lopez-Cabrera of Santa Rosa — sheriff's officials initially said he was from Petaluma — turned himself in at 12:45 a.m. Sunday to the Sonoma County Jail, where he was booked on suspicion of felony assault and gang enhancement charges.

Two people were injured — one critically — in the incident believed to be gang-related, sheriff's officials said. One man suffered a stab wound to the head; the other suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.

Anthony Racines, 19, of Rohnert Park, and Calvin Garcia, 23, of Santa Rosa, were arrested last week for their suspected involvement, according to sheriff's Spokeswoman Misti Wood.

Deputies initially responded to the incident at about 9:40 p.m. Saturday, June 29 to investigate several reports of a fight involving a gun.

About 30 people were in and around the home to attend an after-party to a gender reveal party held earlier that day in Santa Rosa, sheriff's officials said.

"The two victims showed up to the after-party and a fight broke out shortly after their arrival, resulting in the injuries," Wood said. "The fight was likely gang-related and was limited to the five people involved (three suspects and two victims). Other party-goers immediately called 911."

The victim who suffered a head wound was found in a car, while the second victim was found suffering a leg wound in the backyard of the home. Both men were rushed to a nearby hospital.

The man with the head wound was still in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, Wood said last week.

The man with the leg wound was released from the hospital and is expected to recover.

All three suspects remained in custody Monday morning, with bail set at $370,000 for Racines and at $50,000 for Lopez-Cabrera. Garcia has a state parole hold allowing authorities to hold him without bail.

The trio is due in court Tuesday morning.
