Customers who visited the new location were given a free reusable bag.

PLEASANTON, CA — Trader Joe’s fans in Tri-Valley will rejoice because the Pleasanton store has moved and reopened in a new location in the Rose Pavilion. One of the best parts about the move, according to many customers, is the bigger parking lot. The store celebrated its new digs with a grand reopening celebration on Friday morning. Customers who visited the new location were given a free reusable bag.

Originally located on Pimlico Drive, the popular grocery retailer made a short move down the street to 3903 Santa Rita Road to the building previously occupied by the Fresh and Easy grocery chain. The Pasadena-based retailer, which was founded in the 1950s and originally called Pronto Markets, has more than 400 stores.
