• A fire at an Escondido mobile home in San Diego's North County killed a 5-year-old girl and injured eight of her relatives early Thursday.

Two Escondido Women Killed in Rollover Crash

• Rosario Garcia Ibarra, 38, and Christine Loraine Wagner, 47, died Saturday when the vehicle overturned in east San Diego County.

Police Identify Man Fatally Shot in Vista on Christmas Eve

• Deputies found Tyler Branon sitting in a car shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Morning Glory Lane in Vista.
