SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect mostly sunny skies and minor coastal flooding around high tide Monday morning into early afternoon, mainly along areas of San Pablo Bay, according to the National Weather Service.
"Above normal temperatures and dry conditions through the week," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Sunday. "Minor coastal flooding through Monday during high astronomical tide for bayshore locations along the northern San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay. Hazardous beach conditions through Monday at Pacific Coast beaches."

In other news, a man was arrested on suspicion of trafficking a woman found at a hotel; two people were arrested and two more were being sought in connection with an armed home invasion robbery; and multiple people spotted a mountain lion roaming a Bay Area city.
Also, following accusations that TikTok's new Trump-aligned owners are suppressing posts critical of the president, Gov. Gavin Newsom said he is launching an investigation into the platform.
