NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should know that forecasters said more rain could return mid-week into the weekend in the Bay Area.
"Quiet weather for today and Tuesday," NWS Bay Area forecasters wrote Monday. "An unsettled pattern returns for mid-week into the weekend with renewed rain chances."

In other news, a 21-year-old man was killed and his 18-year-old brother suffered traumatic facial injuries after they were attacked by a mountain lion over the weekend in a remote part of Northern California, authorities said.
Eleven protesters were arrested for blocking the Air Base Parkway outside of Travis Air Force Base, police said.
