SAN FRANCISCO — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

Firstly, the Bay Area can expect high clouds and a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms over mountains due to a surge of monsoonal moisture Monday and Tuesday.

Throughout the week, the coast can expect weather in the upper 60s and low 70s, while inland regions can expect highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.

Over the weekend, San Francisco firefighters were called to rescue a 59-year-old paraglider who crashed into the face of a cliff near Fort Funston, the second such event in two days.

Also, a San Jose man accused of burglaries at more than 30 Bay Area businesses was arrested in late June, police said.

Finally, Monterey police are looking for a man suspected of stabbing a stranger for no known reason while he was walking down the street.
