San Francisco Skyscrapers Lit-up For The Holidays: Photo
Framed by the Golden Gate Bridge, the SalesForce and TransAmerica buildings glow in the night sky.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Christmas may be over but the magic of the holidays continues to glow on the financial district skyline, with skyscrapers wearing their holiday lights.
Photographer Al Francis captured this photo. He tells Patch, "I took this night scene of the SF Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline decked out in lights for the holidays. I had to wait for the first rains to clear out the smoke from the Butte County Paradise fire in order to get a clear photo using a long lens on a tripod and time lapse exposure. The new SalesForce building on the right and the TransAmerica building in the center are viewing for the spotlight with the Bay Bridge in the background on the far left."
Stunning. Thank you for sharing this photo and your technique, Al!
