MARIN COUNTY, CA — Patch reader Brian B. Beard captured this photo Sept. 27 of a gray fox in San Anselmo.

"While setting the dining room table for Sunday breakfast, this gray fox sauntered by our back deck — a welcome visitor to our oak woodland," Beard said.
