Scholarship Fund Set Up for Infant Son of Bethel Mom Killed in Danbury Hit-and-Run

A fund has been set up for the 9-week-old baby boy of the Bethel mom tragically struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Danbury.

A scholarship fund has been set up for the infant son of Rachel Sack, the 23-year-old Bethel mother who was struck and killed early Saturday in Danbury by a hit-and-run driver.

Sack was the mother of a 9-week-old baby boy named Jackson, and worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Regional Hospice and Home Care in Danbury. A co-worker, who did not wish to be named, described her as someone who “always had a smile for everyone, no matter what she was feeling or what was going on.”

Other co-workers described her as a ”dynamo, spit fire, firecracker” and someone with ”a zest for life” whose face lit up when she spoke about her son.
