UConn Health Center in Farmington Experienced Flood Tuesday

A valve broke during construction and sent about 100 gallons of water into two labs and a stairwell.

The UConn Health Center experienced flooding after a valve snapped during construction.

No one was injured in the accident, but about 100 gallons of water flooded two labs and a stairwell, according to the Hartford Courant.

The leaked happened around 5:30 a.m. and was fixed by 8 a.m.
