Limited Reopening of Parks, Marinas

As announced last week, the limited reopening of Byram and Greenwich Point parks, as well as the town's marinas, begins Thursday, May 7. Visitors should wear masks when it is not possible to social distance and refrain from congregating, including picnicking or playing sports, town officials said.

If social distancing protocols are not followed, access to those facilities will be reduced or closed, officials said.

Residents must have a 2019 or a 2020 Greenwich park pass, a state-issued ID or a driver's license that shows a Greenwich address to access Greenwich Point and Byram Park. Marina access will be limited to those with a 2019 or 2020 marina facility use permit, officials said.

The last entry to all parks and marinas will be an hour before the posted closing time. Town officials have also provided a list of rules for residents to observe while at both parks, which can be found here.
