Police Charge Man for Breaking into Hamden Home as Residents Slept
The burglary occurred on West Helen Street in late September.
Hamden police have arrested the man suspected of breaking into a West Helen Street home as the residents slept on Sept. 29, 2014.
Marcello Bobe, 24, of 6 Glenbrook Avenue in Hamden, was arrested Thursday on warrant and charged with first-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.
Police said investigation of the burglary revealed that an individual forcibly entered the home while the residents were asleep. Entry was gained by cutting the screen on a rear window. Once inside, several items were stolen including money, credit cards and keys.

Detective Sean Dolan conducted an extensive investigation which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Bobe.

Bobe was arrested while appearing at Meriden Superior Court. Police said he was arraigned shortly after his arrest.
