Jennifer Farber Dulos' Family Releases New Statement
Missing New Canaan mother-of-five Jennifer Farber Dulos has been missing since May 24; First Selectman Moynihan also released a statement.

NEW CANAAN, CT — With her disappearance stretching beyond three months, the family and friends of missing New New Canaan mother-of-five Jennifer Farber Dulos released a new statement Wednesday thanking the community for its collective support.
Additionally, New Canaan First Selectman Kevin Moynihan announced Wednesday that the town's Human Services Department and New Canaan CARES are offering referrals for support services to residents continuing to deal with the trauma of Dulos' disappearance.
"The terrible reality is that Jennifer is still missing," said Carrie Luft, spokesperson for Jennifer Farber Dulos' family and friends. "Jennifer's family and friends want the people of New Canaan to know how much we appreciate the ongoing efforts and actions of the New Canaan Police and the greater New Canaan community: candles, bracelets, flyers and more. We thank each and every one of you who is helping to keep the focus on bringing justice for Jennifer. Your support helps sustain us."

Jennifer Farber Dulos was last seen on May 24, after dropping her children off at school. With the school year starting, "families in New Canaan may feel the need for support and/or counseling services, especially for children having concerns about continued news reports about Jennifer's disappearance," Moynihan said.
Law enforcement officials have not released an update on the case in recent days, but the investigation into Jennifer Dulos' disappearance continues unabated. Her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, and his ex-girlfriend Michelle Troconis, are facing charges in connection with the disappearance, and both cases are pending.

"As the criminal investigation by the New Canaan Police Department and the State Police into the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos continues, I want to assure the family and friends of Jennifer that the townspeople of New Canaan are keeping Jennifer and her family in our hearts and that we remain committed to seeking justice for Jennifer," Moynihan said.
Fotis Dulos is due back in court on Sept. 13, while Troconis is due on Sept. 20.
In a court filing Tuesday obtained by Patch, attorneys for Fotis Dulos sought an emergency order to force the prosecution to produce evidence that authorities have seized, to allow for them to mount a defense.
"The State seems desperate to develop an accomplice in the case, rather than refocusing its effort on trying to build a case based on available evidence," the motion says, in reference to authorities speaking to a former employee of Fotis Dulos' luxury home building business about the case.
"Mr. Dulos did not murder his wife; he did not cause her to disappear," the motion continues. "The State is refusing to turn over evidence that will demonstrate that it would have been impossible for Mr. Dulos to do what public speculation has already tried and convicted him for doing."
Fotis Dulos and Jennifer Farber Dulos were in the midst of a contentious divorce and child custody battle at the time of her disappearance, and in filings last week separate from the criminal case, Fotis Dulos seeks "all information relating to [his] children's academic, medical, hospital or other health records."
According to his attorneys, Fotis Dulos has not seen his five children since May 22. His mother-in-law, Gloria Farber, has been granted temporary custody of the children, and she is seeking sole custody.
