In August, New London Patch recorded 39,668 visitors. For a small city of about 26,000, that's a lot of readers! Our visitors hail from New London, for sure, but many residents of neighboring towns also land on New London Patch from time to time, too. That's not all people have been talking about this summer. Plans for a bike rental program in the city have gotten a number of residents excited, and there was quite a wave of delight that washed over the city just the other week when a whale was spotted off New London.
