New London Pizza Delivery Driver Reports Robbery
He reported hearing a male voice and feeling what he believed to be a gun on the back of his head, police said.

Empire Pizza reported a robbery after their delivery driver was allegedly robbed at gunpoint at approximately 10:27 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10.
According to New London Deputy Police Chief Peter Reichard, officers found the victim in the parking lot of 159 Hawthorne Drive, New London, after receiving a 911 call from Empire Pizza. According to Zillow, there is an apartment building at that address.
The delivery driver reported that he had completed a delivery and when he was placing the delivery bag not his car, he heard a male voice and felt what he believed to be a gun on the back of his head.

“The suspect demand his money, which the victim gave the suspect,” Reichard said. “The suspect then took the victim’s wallet and fled the scene.”
A K9 track was unsuccessful, according to police. The investigation is active. Anyone with information is asked to contact the New London Police Department at 860-447-5269.
