Amazon Opens First Connecticut Store In The SoNo Collection

NORWALK, CT — Online retail giant Amazon opened its first Connecticut store, called Amazon 4-star, in The SoNo Collection mall on Wednesday, officials announced.

The store, which features highly rated products "from the top categories across all of Amazon.com," carries such items as devices, consumer electronics, kitchen and home products, toys, books and more. Every product carries a four-star or above rating on the website.

"Our stores are highly-curated and a direct reflection of our customers—what they're buying and what they're loving," officials said. "Throughout the store there are features like 'Cozy Night In,' 'Trending Around the Northeast,' 'Most-Wished-For on Amazon.com' and 'Pack For Adventure' along with customer review cards with quotes from actual customer reviews to make it easy and fun for customers to discover great products they'll love."

Amazon 4-star joins the mall's anchor stores of Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's, and is opening just days before a new Apple store debuts this weekend.

Store Hours for Amazon 4-star are as follows:

• Monday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
