Photos: Shelton Bear Spotted Again

The bear was seen Wednesday and Thursday morning.

The Shelton bear was spotted again, this time at a home on Daybreak Lane.

Shelton Patch reader Robin Friend shared these pictures with us that she took from inside the safety of her home.

“I was making breakfast and he was four feet from my window on his hind legs. He was looking for the feeders that used to be hanging there,” Friend wrote. “Very unnerving.”

Bears that become comfortable around people lose their natural fear and can become more aggressive, according to the National Park Service. The service also recommends people in groups gather together to present a more intimidating figure.
