Mayor Muriel Bowser said during a news conference Monday morning, in order to provide a walk-up testing site.

D.C. Health has expanded the criteria for testing to allow asymptomatic people who have a history of exposure and are in high-risk groups to be prioritized for testing.

As a reminder, doctors decide who to get tested. Testing asymptomatic people with exposure does not eliminate their need to self-quarantine if they have been instructed to do so.
