Acclaimed "The Creepy Line" Documentary Reveals Manipulation by Google and Facebook Impacting Most in U.S. Google since ruled a monopoly.
The Drum said: "The Creepy Line is a documentary about the growing influence Google and Facebook have on public opinion." "National Review said: Google is accumulating all sorts of data on everyone, and it's kind of scary." The documentary was produced before the recent federal antitrust suit declared Google to be a monopoly. Another federal case is pending against Facebook parent company Meta.
The left-leaning New York Times said on August 5, 2024 — "Google acted illegally to maintain a monopoly in online search, a federal judge ruled on Monday, a landmark decision that strikes at the power of tech giants."
"The Creepy Line reveals the stunning degree to which society is manipulated by Google and Facebook and blows the lid off the remarkably subtle – hence powerful – manner in which they do it. Offering first-hand accounts, scientific experiments and detailed analysis, the film examines what is at risk when these tech titans have free reign to utilize the public’s most private and personal data." That's according to the YouTube page description for their docu-drama video below.

Peter Schweizer is the president of the Government Accountability Institute. According to left-leaning Wikipedia, Dr.: “Robert Epstein is an American psychologist, professor, author, and journalist. He was awarded a Ph.D. in psychology by Harvard University in 1981, was editor-in-chief of Psychology Today..." Wikipedia also says Dr. Jordan Bernt Peterson is a Canadian psychologist and author. They are among those featured in the documentary posted above.
Epstein has testified to Congress, and self-identified as a center-left his whole adult life, meaning, a Democratic voter. That is significant, because this is a man from the left calling out left-leaning Google and left-leaning Facebook for their apparently corrupt and manipulative practices.

At the time Tulsi Gabbard was interviewed in the news spot posted below, she was still a Democratic Congressional represenative for Hawaii. Gabbard served as the DNC's vice chair. She has more recenly left the Democratic party, first becoming an independent and more recently, a Republican. She is among those announced who will serve the new Trump adminstration.
Those who have been following this series on the Patch know that the Media Research Center (MRC) has had similar findings to those revealed in the video above. According to MRC, Google has "interferred" with elections at least 41 times.
