Trump, who is facing multiple indictments nationwide, is at the forefront of an election subversion case in Fulton County. The former chief executive became the first president to have his mugshot taken after he was charged with violation of the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and other charges.
He and 18 others are accused of trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia, where he lost to current U.S. President Joe Biden - a historic turn for the previously red-majority Peach State.

Currently out on a pre-arranged $200,000 bail, Trump maintains his innocence and has claimed in the past the Georgia probe against him has "no basis." He added the investigation is a "witch hunt."
Trump's co-defendants include notable figures, such as former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, ex-senior Department of Justice official Jeffrey Clark, multiple attorneys and Georgia Sen. Shawn Still.
While at least four defendants have accepted a plea deal, Trump and several others have not been granted a trial date.
