Former Atlanta Hotel Staffer Charged With Human Trafficking

The former staff member is accused of providing a room for a teenage girl to use for sex, the GBI said.

ATLANTA, GA — A former hotel employee was arrested on Valentine's Day after being accused of soliciting a teen girl for sex.

Dionte Johnson, 30, of Atlanta, was charged on suspicion of human trafficking, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Friday. Johnson is a registered sex offender, according to the GBI.

Johnson was employed in fall 2021 at a Fulton Industrial Boulevard hotel. He is accused of providing a room for the girl to use for sex.

The GBI said Johnson's arrest was part of an ongoing human trafficking investigation. He was taken to the Fulton County Jail.

The Georgia Attorney General’s Office will prosecute the case.
