Armed Robbery Suspects Linked To Canton Incidents: Police
Police say the 3 suspects charged with the Brick Mill Road incidents are also behind recent armed robberies and entering autos in Canton.

CANTON, GA -- The three people arrested and charged last week in connection with at least one armed robbery reported near a popular hang-out spot in Cherokee County have now been linked to incidents in the city of Canton.
That's according to the Canton Police Department, which has taken out warrants for Channon Hooks and Willie Frank Larry, both 17 and from Canton, and Chelsey Jordan Queen, 19, of Acworth.
As Patch readers recall, the trio were charged last week by the Cherokee Sheriff's Office following at least two reports of armed robberies in the area off Brick Mill Road known as The Falls to local residents.

Canton detectives have been in the midst of an ongoing investigation into recent armed robberies and entering auto incidents that have occurred in the city. This investigation began Oct. 28 after a person was robbed late that evening while walking near Kennett Street and Marietta Road. Canton police said the suspects took money from the victim and "threatened him with a weapon."
Two similar incidents were also reported Nov. 13 and Nov. 28 in the same area along Marietta Road. Police beefed up patrols and carried out specialized operations to help identify the suspects.

Canton detectives have charged the three suspects with three counts of entering auto and two counts of armed robbery. Canton police say they are working to determine if they are also responsible for another armed robbery, and charges could be forthcoming in that case. One entering auto incident was reported Nov. 24 on Scott Mill Road while two took place Nov. 25 near the 300 block of New Point Lane.
The Cherokee Sheriff's Office last week charged Hooks and Queen with armed robbery and theft by receiving stolen property, and they remain held without bond at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center. Larry was charged with armed robbery and also remains held without bond.
This is an ongoing investigation, and detectives urge anyone with information about these crimes to call 911 or the Canton Police Department at 770-720-4883.
