• Jeanette Winslett (polktoday.com) — A longtime Cedartown native, Jeanette Winslett, has passed away at 83, with graveside services set for Wednesday afternoon at Polk Memory Gardens. Family, friends, and neighbors are invited to pay their respects as relatives serve as pallbearers and Smith & Miller Funeral Home oversees arrangements. 
• Wayne Lott (polktoday.com) — Cedartown is mourning the loss of 85-year-old Wayne H. Lott, a lifelong resident whose funeral will be held locally with a private family interment at Polk Memory Gardens. His family asks that memorial donations support the Cedartown High School Tennis Scholarship, inviting neighbors to honor his legacy through local students.
