City officials will share project details, answer questions, and accept public comments through Sept. 30, giving neighbors a chance to shape how these key corridors are upgraded.

2. 2 leadership changes in Muscogee County School District approved by board (ledger-enquirer.com) — Muscogee County schools just approved two key leadership moves that will shape classrooms in Columbus, including a new assistant superintendent for elementary education and a new assistant principal at Rothschild Middle. District leaders say the restructuring will support literacy, math, and new state initiatives without adding staff costs.

4. One answer but with more than one way to get there — Harvard Gazette (harvard.edu) — A Harvard education professor who grew up in Columbus traces how early jobs as a camp counselor and math tutor here sparked his passion for teaching. Now he researches how students learn math best, arguing that exploring multiple solution strategies beats rote memorization.
