ā¢ Cornelia terminates Kinetic Amphitheater naming plans (whitecounty.com) ā Cornelia has officially ended its naming-rights deal with Kinetic for the new downtown amphitheater and will remove the companyās name from Donald Anderson Park signs. After Kineticās sale and loss of the cash offer, commissioners rejected a WiāFiāonly proposal and will seek new sponsors as the amphitheater moves forward, building on momentum from the wellāattended Cornelia Music Festival.

ā¢ Cornelia Tables Mini-Storage Proposal Amid Concerns About City's Gateway (whitecounty.com) ā Cornelia officials have hit pause on a proposed expansion of miniāstorage units along Level Grove Road near Ga. 365, citing concerns about how it would look at a primary gateway into the city. Commissioners want detailed architectural renderings, landscaping plans, and clearer buffersāespecially near a neighboring cemeteryābefore deciding whether the highly visible parcel should become more storage or something that better reflects Corneliaās image. ā¢ JAMES Magazine Online: Hunter Safety Education Coming to Georgia Classrooms (augustaceo.com) ā Georgia students in grades six through 12 will soon have the option to take a hunter safety education course in school under a new state law. The measure was authored in the Senate by Bo Hatchett of Cornelia and aims to teach safe hunting practices, conservation ethics, and wildlife management, with instruction led by certified Department of Natural Resources educators.
