• Manhunt ends with quarry still at large (wgtjradio.com) — Law enforcement conducted a large manhunt after a man fled a state trooper near Cornelia and disappeared around East Walnut Street, Chase Road, and nearby routes. He remained at large as of the report, and residents in the Cornelia area are urged not to approach anyone matching his description but to call 911 immediately if they see him.
   

• Driver charged with DUI after rollover crash on GA 105 (nowgeorgia.com) — A Cornelia driver has been charged with DUI and traffic offenses after a rollover crash on GA 105 near Hilton English Road injured both the driver and a passenger. Habersham County emergency crews responded Tuesday evening, and both were taken to Gainesville with injuries later described as non-life-threatening, though the wreck temporarily blocked traffic in the Fairview community.
