Cumming Double-Shooting Suspect Captured in Maryland
Police say Ronald Eric Lofland shot his ex-wife and another man in a domestic dispute last month.

CUMMING, GA -- A Cumming man accused of shooting his ex-wife and another man in a domestic dispute has been caught in Maryland, according to authorities.
Ronald Eric Lofland, 47, had eluded capture for three weeks before U.S. Marshals found him at about 1 p.m. near the Delaware state line, said Forsyth County Sheriff's Office spokesman Deputy Epifanio Rodriguez.
Investigators say they believe Lofland, the female victim's ex-husband, shot her and another man in what they are calling a domestic dispute on Darla Avenue in Cumming on May 30.
