Gwinnett Woman Killed, Husband On The Run: Police

A Gwinnett County woman was shot and killed late Thursday and her husband was on the run Friday morning, police said.Gwinnett County Police were still on the scene of the shooting on Medlock Park Drive, near Snellville, early Friday morning. They were called to the home shortly after midnight. According to police, Walter J. Lowe, 51, and wife Erica Powell, 46, had been fighting Friday.

College Park Man Gets 20 Years For Pimping 14-Year-Old Girl: ICYMI

A College Park man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after being convicted of sex trafficking and pimping of a 14-year-old girl, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard announced late Tuesday. Christopher Tallington, 27, was convicted of multiple crimes, including trafficking for sexual servitude, pimping, pandering, child molestation, statutory rape, simple battery and sexual exploitation of a minor, the DA's office said.
