An East Atlanta gym is punching way above its weight in attention after its owner posted a sign on the front door that used an expletive in banning law enforcement. EAV Barbell Club on Flat Shoals Avenue on the city's southeast side had a sign that said "No [expletive] Cops" until owner Jim Chambers took it down. But Chamber said that the sign is going back up.

Baby Shot During Forsyth Standoff Has Died

A baby girl authorities say was apparently shot by her father during a standoff in Forsyth County on Monday has died. She was 11 months old. Deputies were called to the home, on Carleen Court in south Forsyth County, Monday afternoon by a woman who said her husband had threatened to shoot her and their young child with a handgun.
