North Georgia Teacher Had With Sex With 8th Grader: GBI
A 40-year-old former gym teacher in north Georgia has been charged with having sex in 2013 with a teen student who had just completed the eighth grade. Shawnetta D. Reece, 40, of Blairsville, is a former middle school physical education teacher in the Union County school system. She is charged with child molestation and sexual assault by a person with supervisory or disciplinary authority, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced Tuesday.

Amazon Opening 'Instant Pickup' Sites In 5 US Cities, Including Atlanta
You ever been shopping online and came across an item that you wanted quick, fast and a hurry? Like, in an "Instant?" Well, Amazon announced Tuesday that it is offering "Instant Pickup" at five locations around the United States, including Atlanta. The announcement by the Seattle-based tech giant essentially means next-day and one-hour delivery is yesterday's news: The new service will be facilitate two-minute delivery for Prime and Prime Student members.

'Get Your Son Before I Kill Him': DeKalb Man Accused Of Brutalizing 8-Year-Old
A DeKalb County man is behind bars after allegedly brutalizing an 8-year-old boy, including choking, kicking and whipping the child's naked body, Patch has learned. Raphael Wright, 26, of Stone Mountain is facing aggravated assault and child cruelty charges, according to news reports.
