1 Dead, 1 Arrested In Paulding Stabbing

DALLAS, GA — A man has been arrested after authorities say another man was fatally stabbed inside an Amsterdam Way home Sunday.

Deputies were initially called to the home for CPR in progress, but the call was later upgraded to a possible stabbing, the Paulding County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

When they arrived, authorities said they found a man covered in blood and standing on the back porch.

Deputies commanded the man get off of the porch and detained him during a search of the home, authorities said.

Inside the home, authorities said they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times.

First responders took him to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries, authorities said.

The man who was on the back porch was arrested in connection with the case, authorities said. He was not identified.

A motive in the deadly stabbing was not released.
