Buy a T-shirt, Help in the Fight Against Cancer

New to Relay For Life of Paulding County this year is the “Stepping All Over Cancer” team, which is selling T-shirts this week to raise money for Relay. 

The shirts, which are purple and screen printed on Gildan Athletic Performance Tee material, encourages the wearer and those who see the shirt to continue “Stepping All Over Cancer.”

“Research has shown that physical activity can lower one’s risk for several types of cancers,” the Relay team writes. “While there are many great exercises out there, you can get a good workout with just the use of your own two feet through running, jogging, or even just by walking. The steps you take in all of those activities can improve your health, and so we’re encouraging everyone to Step All Over Cancer in their own way—and do so while wearing this shirt to show your commitment to staying active to keep cancer at bay.”

The team needs to sell at least 25 men’s and 25 women’s shirts in order for them to be printed. Each shirt is $15, and all proceeds will go toward Relay For Life of Paulding County. The deadline to purchase these shirts is the afternoon of Monday, March 31.
