Chest Compression System Donated to Fire & Rescue Dept.
The $16,100 device was dedicated during an event held at Hiram Firehouse restaurant.

Firehouse Subs announced the grand opening of its first location in Douglasville opening Friday, kicking off to a month-long fundraising campaign in support of public safety.
The restaurant, located at 2911 Chapel Hill Road, is the third in the area for the husband and wife franchise team of Randy and Deanna Richard, according to a press release. The Richards also own Firehouse locations in Hiram and Lithia Springs.
As part of their commitment to help local public safety organizations, the Richards hosted a dedication event at their Hiram restaurant on Sept. 30, which provided a chest compression system, worth more than $16,000 to Paulding County Fire & Rescue. The donated device will assist the department by delivering uninterrupted chest compressions at a consistent rate and depth to patients, helping to improve a patient’s chance of survival.
