Dallas Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash
Police say he struck the back of a Ford Bronco when the two vehicles arrived at a stop light in Cobb County.

DALLAS, GA — A Dallas man was killed Thursday when his motorcycle crashed into a Ford Bronco in Cobb County.
The crash happened on Cobb Parkway at its intersection with Blue Springs Road in Kennesaw, according to Cobb County Police.
There, police say David M. Lance, 41, of Dallas, was riding his 1997 Yamaha Royal Star motorcycle north on Cobb Parkway while the driver of a black 1985 Ford Bronco was doing the same.

As they both approached the intersection, the driver of the Bronco hit his breaks as the light turned red. Moments later, Lance struck the right rear corner of the Ford.
He was thrown from his bike and onto a grass shoulder of the road.

Lance was transported by ambulance to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, but died shortly after arriving, police said.
The driver of the Ford, identified as 27-year-old Brian Cole, of Kennesaw, was not injured.
Police said investigators do not expect to file charges in the case.
