Dallas School Bus Crash Sends Kids, Drivers To Hospital

The wreck happened at about 7:30 a.m. Friday at Nathan Dean Boulevard and Merchants Drive.

DALLAS, GA — Eleven people, including eight children, were taken to the hospital Friday after a wreck involving a pickup truck and a daycare bus.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Nathan Dean Boulevard and Merchants Drive.

According to images shared by Paulding County Fire & Rescue, the crash involved a bus from Paulding Preparatory Academy.

According to Fire & Rescue, eight children, between the ages of 6-10, were taken to Paulding Hospital with minor injuries. Two adults were taken to Kennestone Hospital in serious condition and one adult was taken to Cobb Hospital in serious condition.

Georgia State Patrol and Dallas Police Department officers were working to determine the cause of the crash Friday morning.
